In the opinion of the appraiser, the instrument is worth $16,000. The instrument is well built and structurally in good condition. However, it is not in playing order as is and would benefit from the following:
new plectra (re-voicing)
new string schedule and strings
correcting slipping wrest pins to allow more stability in tuning
general regulation and other setup as it has not been played or maintained much in recent past
Includes cover, bench and dolly.
